POND RULES

These rules are for your benefit as well as
other anglers and the fish.
Fishing is dawn until dusk - but no night fishing
This is a float only venue - no ledgering
Landing nets and keep nets are provided for every peg and we ask for
the care of the fish that you empty keep nets at least every 5
hours
Only one rod per angler
No children unless accompanied by an adult.
Please do not leave any litter.

ALLOWED EXCEPT DRY GROUNDBAIT USED ONLY IN POLE CUPS ***
AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THE ENVIRONMENT
AGENCY AND IN THE INTEREST OF FISH WELFARE, THE FOLLOWING WILL BE
THE ONLY BAITS TO BE USED AS FROM 2011
IF IT IS NOT ON THE ABOVE LIST YOU CAN’T FISH IT
ANYONE CAUGHT USING BAITS NOT ON THE
APPROVED LIST WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE

Floating baits are allowed but used on the
hook only, with no freebies as this spoils the swims for other
anglers
Please, find a peg and stick with it or move all your gear to
another one.
We
do not like to see your or another anglers equipment damaged by
walkabout anglers
The pond is open for match bookings and charity events with
special rates for large bookings
